New clients

Start with a conversation

The first half hour is for your hair, not for the cut.

You do not need to know your curl type or the right words. Tell us what you do now, what you wish your hair did and what you have been told before, and we will start there.

Your first visit, step by step

  1. 01

    Step 1: Book your visit

Book a consultation online, by phone or by WhatsApp. Say which language you prefer and which stylist you would like, if you have a choice.

  2. 02

    Step 2: What to bring

What you use at home, and whatever helps us see your hair.

    • The products and tools you use now

    • Photos of looks you like and don't

    • What has been on your hair: color, a relaxer, a smoothing treatment

  3. 03

    Step 3: When you arrive

Come with your hair dry and in the style you usually wear, not freshly washed or straightened. Park on Belmont Street or in the lot behind the building, and come in through the side door. Check in with Bernarda at the front desk.

  4. 04

    Step 4: What to expect

Your stylist looks at your curls dry, listens to what you want and talks through your routine. You leave with a plan, a time estimate and the stylist who will do your cut.

Come as your curls are

Book a consultation or a dry curl cut, and bring what you use at home.
