Questions
Questions about curl cuts at Rizo
Should I come with my hair washed?
No. Come with it dry, in the style you usually wear it, even if it is day three. We need to see your curls as they are.
I don't know my curl type. Does that matter?
No. Tell us the words you use, rizado, ondulado, crespo, curly, wavy or coily, and we will use yours.
How long does a dry curl cut take?
Plan on an hour and a half to two hours: the look, the cut and the lesson. Each service on the menu lists its own duration.
Do you straighten hair?
Yes, when you ask for it: a blowout or a silk press. We just don't start there, and we will tell you how your curl tends to come back.
Can I bring my own products?
Please do. Bring what you use now, along with your tools and any photos. We start from your routine and change only what needs changing.
Do you speak Spanish?
Yes. Everyone on the team speaks Spanish and English, and this site is also written in Spanish. Tell us which language you prefer when you book.
How much will it cost?
It depends on your stylist's level and your hair's length and density, and the booking page shows the price before you pay. How pricing works explains the rest.
Where do I park?
Parking is on Belmont Street and in the lot behind the building. The side door opens onto the lot.
